These Terms & Conditions apply when you use www.angelsandashes.co.uk, make an enquiry or place an order with Angels & Ashes.

Angels & Ashes creates memorial jewellery and keepsakes designed to preserve precious memories of loved ones and pets. Because many of our pieces are personalised and may incorporate ashes or other sentimental inclusions, please read these terms carefully before placing an order.

2. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied to us is complete and accurate, including names, wording, sizes, colours, engraving instructions, delivery details and any other personalisation requirements.

Please check your order carefully before submitting it.

We may contact you if we require additional information before beginning work.

An order is accepted once we have confirmed acceptance of your order and received any payment required.

3. Personalised and Memorial Jewellery

Many Angels & Ashes products are individually created or personalised for each customer.

This may include jewellery and keepsakes containing or incorporating ashes, hair, fur or another agreed sentimental inclusion.

Because these products are individually handmade, slight differences in colour, positioning, pattern, finish and appearance may naturally occur.

Where resin is used, the appearance of ashes or other inclusions within the resin may vary from piece to piece.

These individual characteristics are part of the handmade nature of memorial jewellery and do not normally constitute a fault.

4. Colours and Images

We make every reasonable effort to display product colours and finishes accurately.

However, colours may appear differently depending on your computer, tablet or mobile device.

Where resin colours, glitter, inclusions or other decorative elements are selected, the finished piece may vary slightly from photographs or examples shown on our website.

5. Providing Ashes or Other Sentimental Inclusions

Where your order requires ashes, hair, fur or another sentimental inclusion, we will provide instructions explaining how the material should be packaged and sent to us.

Please do not send sentimental material until you have received or followed the appropriate instructions.

Customers are responsible for packaging items securely and using an appropriate postal or delivery method.

We strongly recommend using a tracked postal service when sending irreplaceable sentimental material.

6. Care of Ashes and Sentimental Material

We recognise the enormous sentimental importance of anything entrusted to Angels & Ashes.

All ashes and other sentimental inclusions received by us will be handled respectfully and with great care.

We will use only the amount reasonably required to create your chosen piece.

Where practical, unused ashes or sentimental material will be returned with your completed order unless another arrangement has been agreed with you.

7. Prices and Payment

Prices will be displayed in pounds sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.

The total amount payable will be shown before your order is completed.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at the time of ordering.

We reserve the right to change our prices from time to time. Any price change will not affect an order already accepted by us.

8. Production Times

Memorial jewellery is personal and may require careful preparation and hand-finishing.

Any production or completion times provided are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

We will make every reasonable effort to complete your order within the estimated timeframe, but occasionally circumstances outside our reasonable control may cause delays.

If a significant delay occurs, we will contact you.

9. Delivery

Orders will be delivered to the address supplied when placing the order.

Please ensure your delivery details are correct.

We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.

Where tracking is available, tracking information may be provided when your order is dispatched.

10. Personalised and Bespoke Orders

Many Angels & Ashes products are made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

Your statutory cancellation rights may not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised once production has begun, subject to applicable consumer law.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to change or cancel an order.

If work has not begun, we will try to accommodate your request.

11. Faulty or Damaged Items

We take great care when creating and packaging every Angels & Ashes piece.

If your order arrives damaged, is faulty or is not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide your name, order information, details of the problem and photographs where appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

12. Jewellery Care

Memorial jewellery should be treated with care.

Depending on the materials used in your piece, we may recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to water, perfumes, cosmetics, cleaning chemicals, excessive heat or other substances that could affect the jewellery or resin.

Please follow any care instructions supplied with your order.

Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage or failure to follow reasonable care instructions is not considered a manufacturing fault.

13. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on our website is accurate.

Occasionally, errors relating to product descriptions, availability or pricing may occur. If we discover an error affecting your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

14. Intellectual Property

The Angels & Ashes name, branding, website content, product photography, graphics and original written content must not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without permission, except where permitted by law.

15. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

We will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject always to your statutory rights.

16. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically.

The terms applicable to your purchase will normally be those in force when your order is accepted.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom, taking account of the part of the UK in which Angels & Ashes operates and your applicable consumer rights.
